No poker again. Well at least I am keeping busy. Exploring some different coaching options and stuff. Some guy is starting yet another poker training site. But this one is geared towards small and micro stakes.
Sadly, I think(%99 sure) I am the biggest winner on Stars this year at the micros lol. I couldn't believe how many hands I have played this year at those levels when I sent him the PT screenshot. It is safe to say that I am retarded. But being the uncrowned world champion of micro limit poker may have its perks afterall, if I get hired.

Didn't play today. No real reason. Watching too much RailHeaven on FTP perhaps. Guy has been wanting to play a lot lately, so that ridiculously huge game has been running quite often. The funny thing is that he is up the most of anyone, around 600k in the past two days, even tho the game is built around him. His 12 million in lifetime losses according to the highstakesdb is why the game runs though.
I also spent a good amount of time today reading about Archie Karas, the worlds greatest gambler. Neat story, win 40 mill, lose it all back.

Anyways, back to beating people out of their beer money tomorrow. At least I always keep what I win though lol.

My results were pretty good today. The games were extra amazing on a Wednesday night for some reason. It should have been my biggest day ever. But I wear those old bad beat handcuffs every day =/

Things went decent today at the tables. But by far the best part of today was mastering "Little Wing" on guitar.

One of those annoying days where all the shortstacks hit their 2 outers and win all the flips. Wait, thats every day for me. Anyways, some donkeys eventually gave me some money. Same old.

First session went good. Second session (5400 hands) was very frustrating. I felt like I was playing damage control the entire time. I ended the second session breakeven and actually felt like that was a major success.
I folded KK preflop twice today to nitty regs. That didn't keep me from getting stacked on 2 other occasions KK vs AA. Those were both against unknowns, who I don't fold against. I didn't AA vs KK anyone today. Nor do I seem to ever do so. I know they aren't folding KK to me preflop.
I have been getting set over set often multiple times a day for the past few weeks also. Again, it seems like I never do this to people. Maybe I am making excuses. It is difficult to quantify this stuff. I am not pleased with my winrate. I think I should be beating this game for 12 ptbb/100. But it is what it is. I tried hard again today. I'll get after it again tomorrow.

Things went a bit better today. Few too many set over sets and bad beats near the end for any great results tho. My winrate this month is only a bit better than last month at this point. But I haven't played my best at all times either. One thing I need to do is ignore the chat more even though I have it on now. It can be distracting and cause me to make mistakes while 24 tabling.

Sigh. I played all day basically. I ran terrible the entire time. Sometimes it just feels so rigged. It never seems to stop no matter how long I play on a given day. My last session today was almost 8k hands. I just wanted to see how long it would go. It never stopped.
I did manage to not have a losing day though. Whatever. Try again tomorrow.

Got a few more hands in today than yesterday. Honest reason for not getting going right away. Stars had a big update requiring patches to several scripts and PT. I have no complaints about how I'm running once again. Think today was my 2nd biggest day winnings wise ever, at the limits I play. 19 ptbb/100 ftw.

So I'm a bit behind pace to start the month off. A combination of lazyness and a few things I needed to do today. I have been slacking a bit this past week. I have been running better and often only playing one session per day. I have to get that fire back to get going right away in the morning and have multi session days.
I have to stop letting hours and hours go by before I play my first session of the day. I still dread playing each day to some extent. Its what I have been dealing with for so long. It is some sort of mental block that perhaps won't ever fully go away.
I won on 30 of 31 days last month. On that lone losing day, I only lost 2 buyins (which means absolutely nothing to me) and I could have turned it into a winning day easily, if I stuck around longer. I literally never lose and even if I did, it wouldn't matter because I am so overrolled. Yet there is still some irrational fear that I am doing something risky each day.
But, luckily, the mental block is just getting myself going. Once I sit down and load the tables up, I'm totally fine, and I really enjoy the challenge of the game each day. So it really all starts with the first session of the day. I have to get on it right away and force myself sometimes if need be.

September Goals
August was a good month for me. I want to build on that momentum in September. I should be able to make way more money this month by simply moving up. Moving up to a game I will crush as well. 4 goals.
1) Play every day
2) Play 200k hands
3) Jog every other day
4) Move up limits by the 15th of the month at the latest

Finished off the month with another good session. Late rally these past few days saved my month. Winrate on the month (7.88 ptbb/100) was still significantly below what I expected (10 ptbb/100) but I will take it.
I played 140 hours total on the month for an average of almost 4.5 hours per day. This is pretty close to what is required on your average 9-5 job. However poker is much more intense and requires much more focus than your standard office job. So coming close to those hours is an achievement.
I played about 60000 more hands this month than I have in any month previous spanning 4 years. That is amazing. I played every single day in August and I won on 30 of 31 days. That one losing day was my first ever at the limits I play.
This stuff probably sounds unbelievable to anyone who plays this game and may be reading this. Literally never losing is certainly not the norm in this game. I win all the time because I play very low limits and my edge there is enormous (see above winrate).
I don't post my screen name or exactly what limits I play for anonymity (prevent people from googling me or themselves and finding this). And also because its embarrassing how low I play.
That will change in the future. I will move up in September and I will post the limit and possibly earnings (like I did before in this blog), but I will still hide my screen name.
I will write a post outlining September goals tomorrow. Here is my graph for the month. Click on image to enlarge.
