Graph, Spew etc

The above is my graph over the first week or so at NL25. My winrate is only 1 BB/100. I am not happy with that at all. I have been pouring over the hands again and again in HEM. I haven't played that bad, but not great either (see below). I have been getting set over set nonstop. I am losing big with almost every pair 88 and under.

On the flip side I have had a few more of the AA vs KK's in my favor. There are of course many more factors. Its always tough to judge how bad or good you are running. I believe I have run moderately bad over this sample but not disaster bad like the first time I tried to move up to NL25 in late June. Having no information on anyone certainly hasn't helped either.

I believe my winrate in this game is 2BB/100...possibly 3 while 24 tabling. Sadly this seems to be about the highest achievable for a mass tabler at NL25 now if you check the top winners on PTR. There are a few guys getting 3 or close to 4 but they are only playing 6-12 tables.

I believe I have spewed around 5, maybe 6 buyins over this sample. That is simply too much. I am going to post the hands below. They range from horrible and tilt inspired to kinda close but foldable imo. Actually most of these are downright terrible lol.

Everybody spews to some extent but I gotta do better at taking my time and thinking through some of these spots in the heat of the moment. Please let me know your thoughts on any of the hands. Sorry about the different converters. Leggo stopped working on me midway through this post.

I am going to lose a bunch of money in this hand no matter how I play it. Villain is decently aggro. I incorrectly assumed that he was just overplaying an overpair with a diamond here. I believe just calling the turn is better considering how deep we are. If I just call the turn then the pot is $25 dollars on the river. Even if I were to pay off a 3/4 river bet, I would still save the better part of a stack.

3)

SB is a 20/10 slightly fishy semi-reg

Results: $50.70 Pot ($2 Rake)
SB showed 9 9 and WON $48.70 (+$23.45 NET)

While folding TPTK in a 3bet pot is usually pretty bad, I think this is one of those exceptions considering how coordinated the board is. Villain is not overly aggressive. I should have just folded the flop.

4)

MP2 showed Q Q and WON $48.52 (+$23.31 NET)

This hand is just awful. Like the last hand, its TPTK in a 3bet pot. However, I beat nothing and villain is really passive. I should have folded on the turn.

Button is a 28/19 maniac with a 16% 3bet. He had 3bet me at least 5 times already in the past few orbits. I gave up everytime except once with AQ when I just called and c/f a missed flop.

Obviously I picked the worst time possible to fight back. I run good. I should have 4bet and got stacks in with the AQo before. I think with AJs it is a little closer and I can find a bit better spot. I should have just called his 3bet or maybe even just limp/call and obviously get stacks in with any pair or flush draw.

Like I said above, I believe his fold to 3bet was like 80 when we played this hand. Regardless, I think I can do a lot better in my starting hand selection. This hand was certainly tilt inspired though. I think the flop and turn are ok but I should have given up on that river as the 7 doesn't change anything. If the river is was an A,K, or J then I think the river shove is ok.

However this guy is also very stationy and literally snap called every street. I make this play pretty much never and play with this guy a lot. So in a way its ok, cuz he will never give me credit for anything ever again and I will just value town the shit out of him in the future. I should have folded preflop.

This spot is not for a stack and is a little closer. I don't think calling that size of bet, on that river, is ever going to be profitable against this type of player. I'm not sure I like bet/folding though either. Pretty much a FML spot. I think I should have check/folded to any reasonably sized bet. Call half pot or less.

    In my own opinion.

  5. How do you know the maniac has 3bet you so often when you're playing 24 tables? You must have some sick memory/IQ skills. X_X
