I am opening this blog up to the public. It has in actuality been public for 3 years but I have never revealed my screen name until now. I am BlackRain79 on PokerStars (and elsewhere).

I have gained a certain amount of "notoriety" in the poker community since PTR began tracking my play in October of last year.

I currently have the #1 highest winnings in online poker history at 2NL and 5NL along with tens of thousands more in winnings in higher stakes games.

On pace for 215k hands at the halfway point of the month. That is decent.

Ran about as bad as possible yesterday. Ran white hot today. Standard stuff. The good thing is that I played more today. I really want to work on playing the most when running and playing good, rather than the other way around.

Played 3k of my hands today at NL5. Same old game. Plays way tighter than NL2 preflop but just as much bad play after the flop. Should be NL5 only within the next few days. Bit more on the hourly and a bit better RB.

Today was very difficult as I ran extremely bad. But I don't want to have days anymore where I only get in 2k hands cuz I am losing every hand and I can't stand playing. I had to insta quit 3 times today to avoid tilt. Thats fine! But I got back in there quickly each time and finished the day with a reasonable 7k hands. There's been some really rough days lately. There will be many more. I have to just grind through it.

Well I finally did it. I have tried to achieve 200k hands in a month multiple times in this blog with lots of epic fail. Not this time. I played every single day this month except the first 3 days. There was one big downswing near the end (which is noticeable near the end of the graph). Other than that it was smooth sailing. All hands were played at NL2. My winrate was 14.15ptbb/100.

For April, I will probably start the month at NL2 but will probably play the majority of my hands at NL5. I want to play every single day and my goal will be to play more than 203148 hands.
