Today was one of those "no chance in hell you are going to win a hand" days. Things were especially ridiculous in SnG's where I am trying to blow through 11k FPP. So I just quit early and can now happily think about all of the money I am saving by not playing.

Awesome hand from a few days ago. Villain was a LAG running something like 18/14 with a 7% 3bet.

If you don't like to play SNG's, you are better off spending those FPPs on cash bonuses (really easy to convert)
If you are gold star, you can purchase a 285$ bonus where you only need 7 VPPs for every 1$ you convert...

  2. Ya I have bought the bonuses in the past. Then I learned that by playing SnG's I can get almost double the value. For instance with the 25k FPP that it takes to purchase the $285 goldstar bonus I could turn that into $520 playing SnG's, assuming I run near EV.

RAIN - please explain what you mean about converting FPP to SNG's?

I play a ton like you and always spend FPP on cash. But like the idea of more value...

    Thanks again!! Love your blog..

  4. ODC,

I play satellites to the Sunday 1/4 Million, unregister, and then sell the T$. You can find buyers on forums.
