+5 buyins. 22.5k FPP. 4ptbb/100 so far on the month playing mostly in the nitty morning games with no HUD. I am pretty pleased with the results so far. I feel like I have run reasonably well.
One thing that I need to work on is betting pot with overpairs against fish on the flop and turn. Betting pot or close to it sets up a pot sized river all in, ensuring that I stack them.

Well the new year is here and the grind begins again. Slow start because I've been busy but I did get started at NL25 today for almost 7k hands and I should be good to go with big days for awhile now.
I'm not sure what I'm going to do with this blog. I'm probably going to post in it daily but maybe with just some numbers on some days. I'm going to play a lot this year and there is no point in whining about all the terrible beats and coolers I will get or getting all excited about a heater. There will be endless amounts of both of them. I might whine a bit about the couple soulcrushing downswings that will inevitably happen though lol
My previous goals for the year probably were somewhere in the stratosphere. Back to earth for a second here, Supernova Elite may have been wishful thinking. I'm gonna see where I am by summer and see if there is any point in going after it. Supernova and about 500k VPP's is probably more realistic. Also the hand goal of 3 million may be stretching it a bit.
Therefore, my amended main goals this year are to get Supernova (which is 100k VPP and get to the 500k milestone bonus) and put in 200k hands per month which equals 2.4 million on the year. I hope I can be motivated to do better though. Moving up the limits and making a bunch of money are ancillary benefits of achieving my main two goals and they will come at variable rates and times. For this reason, I am not going to bother setting goals for them.
On a final note, I didn't even get to Platinum last month, but Gold is better than nothing. 2008 is over anyways. Enough thinking about it.
Lastly, greatest HH ever imo. Yes, villain checked the best hand in poker behind here on the river. Head assplode...
