More WSOP FT Ramblings

Alright. So on Monday Jonathan Duhamel will very likely be the first Canadian winner of the main event of the WSOP ever. Congrats to him. OLE OLE OLE.

The Hand:

I am not even going to repost it here because if you follow poker you have seen it by now. It was the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen in my life. Cheong's 6 bet shove with A7o, in that spot, in this tournament, was so insanely reckless that I think it was the craziest blowup, by a longshot, in the history of this game. This hand will be talked about for years to come. I would like to remind everyone that no one in this hand was over the age of 25. This game makes people go crazy at times. Really, really crazy. Cheong lost his mind and threw away millions and millions of dollars. He will regret this for the rest of his life. No need to pile on any further. However, if Duhamel does not have QQ+ or AK there (and he definitely doesn't a decent amount of the time), Cheong is a genius.

  2. Ya that was at least a week ago I think. It would have been NL50 and NL25 6max. Idk, swings happen. I don't really pay much attention to EV. I'm sure it was below on that day.
