My momma once told me that if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all. Yes I am in a brutal downswing. I just erased a huge rant post for the second day in a row. I don't want this to be a whine blog like so many other miserable poker players. I lost a bunch of poker hands. So what?

ReplyDeleteSucks about the downswing - I'm in a pretty bad one as well. I noticed that you previously played on Full Tilt but now on Poker Stars. I was wondering why this is? I have played on both sites but feel that I get 'rivered' more on FT - is this a problem you experienced, hence the move to PS? Do you feel that its easier to move up in stakes on Poker Stars? Also, do you feel that the quality of play at each level differs at each site - i.e. an NL2 player on PS vs an NL2 player at FT? Sorry for all the questions, I'm really having a tough time with this downswing and am trying to come up with as many answers to my questions as possible.

Heh, you aren't alone. This is one serious mind fuck. I don't expect to have a chance to win at all lately, for the past 60k hands. Anyways, you can't get into the its rigged thinking. Its not true and it doesn't do you any good.
ReplyDeleteAs to you question. It was several years ago that I played on FTP. If you have a rakeback account I would consider playing there cuz rakeback at PS isn't equivilent until Nova. The play is pretty similar between both sites.
For me personally, only being able to play 16 tables sucks, plus I think PS software is much better. But ultimately the reason I left is because they kept screwing up my cashouts. Checks getting "lost" in the mail. Oh, their customer support and absolutely atrocious as well. I won't be going back there anytime soon.
