Since I have some readers now I will try and post some content from time to time. This was an interesting hand from today.

Villain is a very tight regular, like 10/5. He was actually the BB in the hand I posted yesterday. He claimed to have QQ in that hand. So obviously he is quite passive and doesn't like to fold overpairs.

In this hand, preflop and flop are standard. My turn bet is totally standard as well. I should have folded when he raised though. But I was a bit tilty and had position and his raise just felt spazzy. He might also have the same hand as me and if he checks the river I can perhaps move him off it. If he bets the river I can fold pretty easily.

Anyways, the interesting part of this hand was the river. He made his bet instantly. Clearly he didn't even look at the board and see that it was one card to a str8. Since I can easily rep 87 here, and he never has a str8 himself, I can now happily shove AK as a bluff and take the pot.

    Hi,

That's why the position is so important.

Playing quickly doesn't matter so much for me,...with 20-24 tables I've no time to look on that most of the time. You?

    Anyway, gg

  2. Hey man. Love that you made your blog public. I'm one of those nitty regulars that you hated so much at NL2. I've enjoyed the read so far. I'll be visiting regularly. Keep up the grind!

  3. lamphi,

I'm not sure that I understand your question. You are right though. Position is very important.

    Adam,

Thanks. Haha, I don't actually hate you guys. Games have been getting tougher for a long time now...even at NL2. But the good news is that anyone with half a clue can still make a lot of money at small stakes. GL with your blog as well.

Yep sorry man, I'm french canadian with a low level in english ;)

The question was, do you have time to read the move (quick or slow) with 24 tables open?

  6. P.P.,

My avatar on Stars is not me. It is the hip hop artist Mos Def.

    lamphi,

No problem. I am Canadian too. Other side of the country though. If I have an important decision to make I move the table out of the stack and focus on it. I don't normally need much more than a second or two to decide though so yes, I have time.
